I wanted to practice painting glass. I thought about marbles, but I ended up with small glass objects bought at our local hobby store. I found this amazing shallow glass dish at an antique shop and arranged everything on a mirror. The reflection on the mirror was brighter, but I toned it down to emphasize the objects themselves.
I am a watercolorist and a retired chemistry prof from Texas A&M University living in College Station, TX. I started as a watercolorist in 2013 by attending classes with local artists. Since then, I have won several awards in our local judged show, including Best in Show in 2019. Robyn Glass and I started Brazos Watercolor Retreats (BrazosWatercolorRetreats.com) in 2019.
